Detailed Eyes

The students from K-2 were making people with more detailed eyes. This is a second grade example from the lesson. There is a tutorial of how to make eyes that says in the room. We also talked about how the letter J can be used to make noses.

This is an eighth grade result from the fruit bowls. Eighth grade wasn't originally going to do fruit bowls but after the results posted in the school for the other students it was requested by the class to do the fruit bowl assignment too.

Hand part 3

This is a seventh grade result from the final part to the Hand drawing lesson. It was completed a bit ago but I wanted to include it in the blog. This one is very colorful but also makes the hand still stand out.

This is another 3rd grade result from the fruit bowls. This bowl is very expressive. The student wanted to bring out the curves of the bowl.

Fruit Bowls

Students were to use lines to create a line drawing of a fruit bowl. Then they used color and other details to embellish their work. This is a 3rd grade result that exemplifies the overlapping technique.
