Cube Papercraft

The middle school students were given a template for a cube paper craft. They designed, cut, and built something of their own volition. Here are some of the results. 

Flying Penguins

If you could help a penguin fly in anyway way imaginable how would you do it? The fourth and fifth grade students answered this question with a drawing.

Warm Winter Wishes

My fourth and fifth grade students used value and shapes to create drawings of hot cocoa with smoke.

Collaborative Gameboards

The fourth and fifth grade students are close to finishing up their collaborative gameboards. Here are a couple from one of the fourth grade classes. 

Giraffes

My first grade students and kindergarten students are working on drawing giraffes from observation and then using their creativity to make the drawing unique.

Some of my sixth grade students did a project about looking up from the bottom of a well.

Winter Village

My second grade students created winter villages. Here is one example. The student used their creativity by adding a giraffe in the picture 

Design your own Campbell soup

My middle school students designed their own soup cans last semester inspired by Andy Warhol's art. 

Tessellation

My middle schools from first semester did Tesselations not too long ago. Here are a few results.

Grid Trees

The middle school students just finished a project about grid trees. They were challenged by drawing a tree, adding a grid over top, and then using texture and color to bring out their creativity. Here are a few examples. 

Mid year Update

This year has been a year for change. We are working with new types of materials. I will be making a few posts displaying some of the projects created so far this year!
